The warp threads are made from spinning stretch yarn, and then wool 2/72 is woven in a satin weave as the weft. Dyeing the fabric causes the warp threads to shrink to less than half their original size, resulting in a highly elastic material. The fullness of the wool gives it a soft and warm texture.
